Casa SR, located on the slopes of Misión la Cañada in León, Guanajuato, stands out for its monumental and contemporary architecture. The residence is organized across three levels: the ground floor features a daily-use garage and a collector-car showroom; the first floor houses the social areas; and the second floor is dedicated to privacy, with three secondary bedrooms, the master suite, and a study.

The design integrates the natural slope of the terrain and strategically manages natural light, protecting the interiors from excessive sun while framing views of the city. From the façade, defined by double-height spaces and wooden finishes, the warm and sophisticated atmosphere of the home becomes evident. At its core lies the living room, highlighted by a custom chandelier that emphasizes the space’s verticality.

The material palette creates an inviting yet elegant environment: three types of stone serve as visual focal points, wood textures add warmth, and darker tones accentuate key areas. The furniture was selected to complement the home’s spacious, elongated layout, and curved elements were incorporated to bring harmony and fluidity to the design.
