residential
Parvada is a residence located in Parras, Coahuila, conceived as a retreat deeply connected to its natural and cultural context. Set within a landscape of vineyards, walnut trees, and historic architecture, the project prioritizes the relationship between architecture and nature to create a rich sensory experience.
Built on a 2,067 sq. m. site, the design preserves the vineyard as the heart of the project, organizing 850 sq. m. of construction across two levels. The program includes multiple social spaces, double-height interiors, central gardens, and outdoor recreational areas, allowing the house to function both as a family home and a place for gathering.
Inspired by traditional Mexican haciendas, the architecture reinterprets their romantic essence through a contemporary lens. Gardens, courtyards, and open-air spaces establish visual and spatial continuity from façade to patio. Defining elements such as aligned arches, sculptural features, and water elements enhance the connection between interior and exterior.
Through a careful selection of materials, textures, and light, Parvada honors its regional context and becomes a distinctive architectural refuge within the landscape of Parras.
