Parvada is located in the southern region of Coahuila, in the Magic Town of Parras, where an oasis is surrounded by walnut trees, historic architecture, minerals, and vineyards. Our team designed this residence to honor its natural and cultural context and to awaken the senses. The design embraces the richness of the site and prioritizes the relationship between architecture and nature, resulting in an open space that offers a distinctive sensory experience for its residents.

The residence sits on a 2,067 sq. m. plot. The family envisioned the vineyard as the heart of the project, establishing a symbolic connection with the land. A total of 850 sq. m. were designated for construction, preserving ample space to highlight the natural vegetation. The design unfolds across two levels and includes 10 bedrooms, a central courtyard, a Zen garden, and double-height social areas such as the dining room, bar, and living room, all visible from the main façade. Outdoor features such as a barbecue area, a lounge, and a game room reinforce the home's recreational character, positioning it as a place for rest and togetherness.

The architectural approach reinterprets the spirit of traditional haciendas through an authentic and contemporary lens. The clients aimed to evoke the romantic essence of historic Mexican estates while integrating modern elements that balance classic character with contemporary living. The layout is organized around central gardens and open-air spaces, establishing a fluid connection from the front façade to the rear patio. Although designed for a family of five, the residence accommodates up to 20 guests, making it an ideal space for gatherings and celebrations.

Four arches, carefully aligned with the vineyard rows, stand out as one of the project’s defining elements. These arches create a harmonious visual rhythm and strengthen the integration between indoor and outdoor spaces. Sculptural elements in the Zen garden and a water channel running through the central courtyard enrich the sensory experience, encouraging a deeper connection with nature.

The selected materials pay tribute to the region and reinforce the dialogue between architecture and context. A thoughtful combination of textures, natural light, and spatial composition anchors the residence to its surroundings and transforms Parvada into a singular retreat within the landscape of Parras.
